Hi there

It’s been a while since I sent an email out to you – I’m so sorry for neglecting you 🙁 I do have some mitigating circumstances though!

My health has been a nightmare over the past few months – seems like I’ve been having infection after infection because of my ongoing chemotherapy treatment.

Anyway, the good news is that my oncologist has recently withdrawn me from any further chemo treatment as she says that my body has been hurt far too much.

At least I can now start to rebuild my life post cancer treatment – I’m now just over a year in remission, and I give thanks for that every day . . . I love being able to see God’s nature around me and realise that I’m able to do so.

One of the things (apart from my Bible and spiritual songs/hymns) that kept me going through the dark days of chemo treatment last year, was filling my head with motivational quotes and reflections – hope you don’t mind me sharing some of them with you – they really helped me . . . maybe they can do the same for you as I believe that everyone needs to be motivated at one point or another.

No one is immune to the feelings of sadness, loneliness, or even laziness. When faced with these feelings or when you feel like your energy is lagging, try reflecting on this motivational quote to give you the push you need to refresh your spirit!

Today’s reflection:
==============

“Success consists of doing the common things of life uncommonly well.” – Unknown

Many people wonder how they can become successful. This quote explains what becoming successful means in the simplest terms. Truly successful people have integrity, a strong work ethic, a desire to succeed, and tenacity to keep working even when it seems that things aren’t going well. They don’t give up easily, rather they keep moving forward regardless of the number of times they are knocked back.

Think about if you always act in an honest way? Do you show integrity? Do you give your employer an honest day’s work for what you’re paid? Are you determined to succeed without giving up?

I have a new gift for you:
